## Assessment
- **Final RLP Self-Rating** + teacher rating (compare to Week-1 baseline).
- **Portfolio Defense Rubric** (out of 20): clarity, evidence of growth, ownership of voice, response to Q&A, connection to next chapter.
- **Leadership Letter** (4-pt rubric: honesty, usefulness to a stranger, voice, hope).
## Differentiation
ML/EL — defense may include a bilingual segment. Foundational — defense may use slides + scripted intro. Stretch — defense may be open to invited family/community.
## Sub Plan
Do not run this week with a sub. If teacher absent, postpone defenses.
## Family Engagement
Family invited to all Day 4 + Day 5 defenses. Send invites Week 19.
## What to Save for Next Year
- Class Compact, Inclusion Audit data, Leader of the Week board archive
- Best 5 Leadership Letters (with student permission) for next year's mentor texts
- Capstone artifacts (with student + partner permission) for the showcase wall
- Photos of every closing circle (start a 5-year wall)

## Final Teacher Note
You just spent 20 weeks helping adolescents practice being the people they want
to be. Some of them will write you a letter in 10 years. The rest will quietly
become the kind of leaders their workplaces, families, and communities need.
You won't always know. Trust the work. See you next semester.
